DESCRIPTION:Dear Valued Stakeholder \nThe Nelson Mandela Foundation and Breathe Films\, with the support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation invite you to the launch of the ‘Mining Bodies’ exhibition\, which will be followed by a panel discussion. \n Panellists: \nDr Asanda Benya – Sociology Dept UCT\, Specialist in mining and activist \nMr  Nikisi Lesufi – Minerals Council’s Senior Executive: Health\, Environment and Legacies \nMr David van Wyk – Benchmarks Foundation \nMs Catherine Meyburgh – Breathe Films \nMr Richard Pakleppa – Breathe films \nAn audio-visual installation\, reflecting on the impact of mining and inviting viewers to share their thoughts on how the sector can be transformed. Aiming to end a tragic legacy of great harm to miners\, the environment and communities across Southern Africa. \nThe exhibition will be followed by a panel discussion and a light dinner. \nRSVP by 11 OCtober 2019 \nsamantham@nelsonmandela.org \nPlease note that viewing of the exhibition will be from 5:00pm to 6:30pm \nIt takes 20 minutes to view and accommodates 22 people \nSecure parking available along Central Street
