Lawyers for Human Rights (LHR) – LHR is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental human rights organization, with a 40 year history of using the law as a positive instrument for change for their clients, and in the public interest. LHR employs a multi-pronged approach to rights enforcement, including community mobilization, education, policy advocacy initiatives, and strategic litigation driven by the needs of South Africa’s most marginalized.

Legal Resource Centre (LRC) – The LRC seeks to ensure that the principles, rights and responsibilities enshrined in our national Constitution are respected, promoted, protected and fulfilled. The LRC seeks creative and effective solutions by using a range of strategies, including impact litigation, law reform, participation in partnerships and development processes, education and networking within South Africa, the African continent and at the international level.

Social Justice Initiative (SJI) – a non-profit organisation that mobilises resources for civil society organisations pursuing social justice and advancing democracy in South Africa.
