The long answer

You can go to the UIF uFiling website here: https://ufiling.labour.gov.za/uif/. Register or log in with your ID number. Once logged in you can:

• View your UIF contributions

• Check your claim status

• See available credits (balance)

You can also call the UIF Call Centre at 0800 030 007. Have your ID number and any additional employment information ready when you call.

You can also visit your nearest Department of Employment and Labour office with:

• Your South African ID.

• Your employment details.
